WORKs is a program that provides employment and educational support services
to economically disadvantaged farmers and ranchers who are transitioning
to non-farm employment.

WORKs clients are referred from a variety of sources, including the Kansas
Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services, community organizations,
media ads and word-of-mouth. WORKs services are available across the state
with Employment Specialists located in Manhattan, Hays, Garden City and
Topeka. Our staff often travels considerable distances to meet with clients
