Recognizing this, federal and many states’ laws require that financially distressed consumers not be abused, deceived or treated unfairly.

The "contact us page" provides both the address and phone number to find locations and schedule an appointment. Interviews are confidential and can be held in person, by phone, mail or Internet. No one is turned away because of inability to pay. This service is available to anyone regardless of race, sex, creed, color, and/or social or financial position. The counselor will help you determine if you will be eligible for a debt repayment plan.

        Document Request no further contact from creditor - This letter can be sent to a bill collector or creditor when you wish no further directcontact from them attempting to collect the debt. A debtor is allowed to make this request under the Fair Debt Collection Act. NOTE: The collector may choose to file a law suit as the debtor as a response to this letter, since that type of contact is not covered by this letter.
