Kansas Legal Services - Manhattan seeks a staff attorney to represent lower income Kansans in the areas of general civil law and housing cases in Riley and Pottawatomie Counties.

Case work will focus on solving civil, legal problems that will increase the social and economic stability of the individual. Focus practice areas will include family, elder and housing law (mortgage foreclosure defense & landlord tenant), as well as work with victims of crime. The office serves Anderson, Chase, Coffey, Greenwood, Lyon, Marion and Morris counties.

Work will be remote from attorney’s home with equipment provided by employer.  Preference for attorney without other current legal practice, to avoid conflict issues. Spanish bilingual a plus.
