Relief Program Extended for Former Foster Youth Ages 18 - 26

DEADLINE EXTENDED to Sept. 10: Reminder to apply for the one-time pandemic relief payment for Kansas young adults ages 18 to 26 who experienced foster care, juvenile justice or tribal authority out of home placement at or after the age of 14.

The Kansas Department for Children and Families has established the Independent Living Pandemic Relief Program to provide financial assistance to young adults ages 18-26 who have experienced

  • foster care,
  • juvenile justice or
  • tribal authority out-of-home placement at or after the age of 14.
