Free Legal Outreach Clinic in Lawrence, May 2

Provided by Kansas Legal Services in conjunction with the Lawrence Public Library.

Have you considered who will make medical and personal decisions on your behalf if you should become incapacitated? Come to the Lawrence Public Library Outreach to find out more about the importance of advance directives and estate planning basics.

A thirty-minute informational program will be held at 1:30 pm, followed by an opportunity to have advance directive legal documents drafted for FREE! Kansas Legal Services staff will be available to meet with community members age 60+.

Legal documents such as Powers of Attorney and Living Wills can be prepared on site. 

Please come take advantage of this great opportunity!

Documents that can be prepared for free include:

Financial Power of Attorney

Health Care Power of Attorney

Living Will

 

*Assistance provided on a first come, first served basis.  Individuals will be required to complete a short application form prior to meeting with an attorney or KLS staff member.
