KLS offers free legal help after Kansas disasters
Free legal help is available for those affected by the Kansas wildfires a few weeks ago, as well as for weather disasters as we experienced recently. Kansas Legal Services knows that disasters can create unexpected legal challenges, like insurance claim problems, contractor fraud and important documents being destroyed. KLS will help anyone eligible for free. “Our team understands that recovery can feel overwhelming, and we are here to provide clear guidance and support during this difficult time,” KLS said in a press release.

You have to file legal documents with the court either in person or by fax. Exception:  Small claims court does not allow you to fax a legal document to them. You have to do it in person.
