Juvenile Expungement: Clear your juvenile record in Kansas
Kansas who have an arrest or conviction on their records from when they were a juvenile (under 18 years old) might be able to get that record cleared. Kansas Legal Services has an interactive form to create a document for the Court where the arrest or conviction took place. You must first figure out if your crime is eligible for clearing.  Watch this short video on juvenile expungement.

Request to Waive Filing Fees
KLS has a form you can create that will request a waiver to filing fees (asks to not have to pay the fee) for any legal situation that requires you to pay a fee.  If you do not have the funds for the filing fee, you can use this form to ask not to pay. This is an interactive interview that will take you through the form, and then will create the form for you to download.

Kansas Legal Services has a rich history of helping Kansans for over 45 years.
Kansas Legal Services (KLS) was born in 1964 during the War on Poverty, and became a statewide organization in 1977. KLS provides legal services to alleviate low income Kansans’ poverty burdens. KLS has eleven legal services field offices and two mediation offices located across Kansas. In 2019, the Board of Directors examined KLS’ mission statement and reaffirmed it with this simple statement:

Every four or five years, Kansas Legal Services asks Kansans to fill out a questionnaire telling us what they need -- legal needs and other needs.  This is the year! We published the results of our needs survey from 2020 and now we are going to find out how things have, or have not changed.
