Emancipation means you are legally separated from your parents or guardian and do not have to live with them.  The law in Kansas emancipates you when you are 18 years old.  Having a baby does not make you legally emancipated.  Your parents cannot emancipate you so they are no longer legally responsible for financially providing for you.

Steps to Reinstating Your Driver's License and Addressing Suspensions The Kansas Legislature passed SB 127, which became effective on May 6, 2021, made some changes that can really help people who have a suspended driver's license.  Among the Changes from SB 127 People who have an expired license are not kept out of the Restricted Driver's License program because they have a driving while suspended conviction.

With this document, another person will have legal authority for health, medical and other major decisions, within limits, when you're absent. A Power of Attorney for Children is most often used by parents to allow a short-term caretaker to make decisions. This is often used when they're gone for work, vacation or otherwise out of town.
