Kansas Legal Services (KLS) was born in 1964 during the War on Poverty, and became a statewide organization in 1977.
KLS provides legal services to alleviate low income Kansans’ poverty burdens. KLS has eleven legal services field offices and two mediation offices located across Kansas.
In 2019, the Board of Directors examined KLS’ mission statement and reaffirmed it with this simple statement:
Veterans are encouraged to make an appointment by signing up via the link below or by phone..
This clinic is for Civil Legal questions or if you are in need of Legal Advice.
Appointments are available in-person or via tele-video. This clinic is not for criminal issues.

Every four or five years, Kansas Legal Services asks Kansans to fill out a questionnaire telling us what they need -- legal needs and other needs. This is the year!
We published the results of our needs survey from 2020 and now we are going to find out how things have, or have not changed.
