KLS offers free legal help after Kansas wildfires

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Free legal help is available for those affected by the Kansas wildfires this week.

Kansas Legal Services said disaster can create unexpected legal challenges, like insurance claim problems, contractor fraud and important documents being destroyed.

Kansas woman’s longtime home saved just feet from wildfire

The nonprofit law firm said it would help anyone eligible for free.

“Our team understands that recovery can feel overwhelming, and we are here to provide clear guidance and support during this difficult time,” the organization said in a press release.
